3. Trail of the Ancients Scenic Byway

Visit El Morro National Monument as it is an incredibly beautiful. You will find many names carved on the soft sandstone walls of the butte.  You can dive deeper into history by visiting the Aztec Ruins National Monument and the Salmon Ruins.

4. Trail of the Mountain Spirits Scenic Byway

A haven for bicycle fanatics, this scenic byway takes you towards the annual Tour of the Gila race. Also known as The Inner Loop, the road is thrilling and fun if you are traveling by car. You shouldn’t miss Silver City.

5. High Road to Taos Scenic Byway

Travel through the route and gaze at the classic and authentic remnants of old New Mexico.  You will get to revel in the historic architecture, religion, history, and topography. What’s more? The byway will take you through Chimayo, which is a beautiful community known for Santuario de Chimayo and the El Posito.
