Weโll feature some popular names that you will recognize. Letโs see if you can guess where the manufacturers are from before you move on to the gist of this blog. Just glance at the headings and see if you know where these Brands are from.
Letโs get into it.
1. The BMW 5-Series
BMW is an independent car manufacturing brand based in Munich, Bavaria in south-east Germany. We say independent because the rest of our car brands are divisions of different manufacturers.
The 5-series is available as 5-Series Sedan and 5-Series Gran Turismo models. They feature turbocharged engines with up to 8 cylinders. You can have the optional all-wheel-drive option for the 5-series as well. They offer some great interiors and maximized performance. The 5 series sold over 40,000 units in the US, in 2017.
2. The Mercedes-Benz C-Class
Now hereโs a perfect example of a luxury brand that overshadows the parent brand. Mercedes Benz is a luxury car manufacturing brand thatโs a subsidiary of a German car manufacturer, Daimler AG. Sounds peculiar, right? You may or may not have heard of Daimler AG, but Mercedes Benz is a part of it, none the less.
The C-Class from Mercedes-Benz is the most affordable of the lineup and is the best-selling luxury car in the US, with more than a whopping 77,000 units sold in the US, in 2017. The variants feature turbocharged 4, 6 and 8 cylinder variants.
3. The Audi A4
Audi is a car manufacturer from Germany and is part of the, you guessed it, Volkswagen Group. Itโs their Luxury division. The brand started off in Ingolstadt, Bavaria located in the south-east of Germany.
Audi is a name synonymous with luxury and the Audi A4 gives just that. With over 34,000 units sold in 2017 in the US, itโs a reliable sports sedan that combines style, reliability and sporty looks all into one. It is packed with loads of features on the inside, including panoramic Google Maps and HDR 3D satellite views found in the interface with Audi Connect.
4. Infinity Q50
Infinity is yet another brand that lies under another famous Japanese car manufacturing brand: Nissan. The Q50 model by Infiniti is a traditional entry-level luxury vehicle. It falls in the mid Luxury category. You can have a 4-cylinder engine that is turbocharged or a plain V6 engine. A hybrid configuration is also available for the engine. You can get an all-wheel drive instead of a rear wheel drive as well.
The Q50 sold more than 40,000 units in the US, in 2017.
5. Lexus ES
Believe it or not, Lexus is a luxury sub-brand of the Japanese car manufacturer Toyota. If you already knew that, congratulations, youโre well informed.
The Lexus ES starts from $40,000 and is thought to be smaller, but shares a platform to the Toyota Avalon. It has a V6 engine as a standard, and also gas the optional hybrid (gasoline/electricity) powertrain. It had more than 50,000 units sold in the US, in 2017.
